MARKET HARBOROUGH MARTINGALE
• The martingale consists of a neck strap with two adjustable straps which go through the bit and snap onto the D's on the reins.
• Pressure is brought to bear on the horse's mouth when the horse acts unfavourably.
• Web reins are included.
This martingale works in a similar way to draw reins. The horse works the reins and not the rider which makes it a whole lot safer option to use for most riders. It is useful on horses that have a high head carriage. It asks the horse to drop the head and then when the head is in the correct position the pressure is released and the horse rewarded.
